Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 26, 2026

Bar Advantage LLC operates Bar Advantage Careers at www.baradvantagecareers.com. This policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information through our website, communications, and career coaching services.

Our services are intended for adults in the United States. Privacy questions and requests should be sent to kenny@baradvantagecareers.com.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide when you request the Career Guide, contact us, book a call, submit an enrollment request, or become a client.

Depending on your interaction with us, this includes your name, email address, phone number, appointment details, engagement selection, payment preference, career goals, professional background, correspondence, and materials you choose to share.

For clients, records also include agreements, invoices, payment status, coaching notes, questionnaires, and agreed work products. Recordings, transcripts, and AI-assisted materials are subject to the separate permission process described below.

Wix and its website tools also collect technical and usage information, including device and browser information, online identifiers, and information about website visits and interactions.

Please leave out client names, privileged communications, confidential matter details, Social Security numbers, and other information unnecessary for career coaching. Do not send payment-card details through ordinary forms or email.

How we use information

We use information to respond to requests, deliver resources, review enrollment requests, schedule appointments, provide coaching, prepare agreed materials, communicate about services, administer payments, maintain business records, and protect our website and accounts.

We also use website information to understand site performance and improve the visitor experience.

Requesting a guide or submitting an enrollment form does not authorize a card charge or establish an accepted coaching engagement.

Service providers and sharing

We share relevant information with providers supporting our business. These include Wix for website hosting, forms, bookings, contact management, website tools, and related business functions. We use Zoom for virtual meetings and Microsoft services for email or calendar functions, as configured.

Payment providers handle payment information through the checkout or invoice process. We receive transaction information needed for billing and business records.

Before using an additional recording, transcription, or AI provider with identifiable client information, we identify the provider and explain the proposed processing as part of the permission process.

We also share information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect legal rights, investigate misuse, or maintain security.

We do not contact your employer or share your coaching materials with prospective employers without your direction, except where disclosure is legally required.

Providers have their own privacy terms and data-handling practices. Provider information is available here:

Wix: https://www.wix.com/about/privacy

Zoom: https://www.zoom.com/en/trust/privacy/privacy-statement/

Microsoft: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/privacy/privacystatement

Recordings, transcription, and AI assistance

We request separate permission before recording or transcribing a session, or using an AI service to process information identifying you.

Before requesting permission, we explain the tool, purpose, information involved, access, retention, and relevant provider data-use terms. These tools support activities such as preparing notes, summaries, or agreed coaching materials.

You are free to decline recording, transcription, or AI processing and receive coaching without those optional tools. Visiting our website or submitting an enrollment request does not provide this permission.

To withdraw permission for future recording or AI processing, email kenny@baradvantagecareers.com. Withdrawal does not reverse completed processing. Requests concerning existing recordings or other materials are reviewed under our retention practices and applicable obligations.

Cookies and website tools

Our website uses Wix tools and cookies or similar technologies supporting site operation, security, preferences, and website measurement.

Manage cookies through your browser and any cookie-preference controls available on the website. Blocking some cookies affects features such as sign-in or booking.

The cookies and information collected depend on the Wix features enabled and your choices. We review this policy when our tracking tools or practices change.

Marketing choices

Marketing updates are optional. Requesting the Career Guide, contacting us, booking a call, or requesting enrollment does not automatically subscribe you to marketing.

Where we offer a marketing subscription, we request a separate choice. Use the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or contact us to stop those messages.

Service communications, such as requested-resource delivery, scheduling messages, invoices, and engagement correspondence, are separate from marketing.

Retention and security

We retain information for the purposes described in this policy and as needed for service delivery, recordkeeping, legal obligations, and dispute resolution.

Retention depends on the information’s purpose and sensitivity, our relationship with you, and applicable requirements. Recordings and transcripts follow the retention terms disclosed during the permission process.

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information involved and limit business access to authorized people with a relevant need. No online system or transmission offers absolute security.

Deletion requests are subject to applicable recordkeeping obligations and technical limits, including provider backup processes. We explain relevant limits when responding.

Your requests and rights

Email kenny@baradvantagecareers.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, or to ask about our privacy practices.

Rights under state law depend on your residence, the information involved, and whether the law applies to our business. Where applicable, rights include access, correction, deletion, a copy of information, and certain processing choices.

We review requests under applicable law, verify identity as appropriate, and explain our response. Where an appeal right applies, request a review of our decision using the same email address.

Processing locations

Our business operates in the United States. Service providers operate across multiple countries, so processing and storage are not necessarily limited to U.S. locations.

Children and other websites

Our website and coaching services are directed to adults. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can review and address the submission.

Links to other websites and services lead to providers with their own privacy practices. Review their policies before sharing information.

Policy updates and contact

We update this policy as our practices change and revise the effective date above. We provide additional notice or obtain consent where required by applicable law.
