A Trusted Advisor

Career coaching informed by legal recruiting and talent leadership experience

I am intimately familiar assessing the risks associated with leaving the practice of law. I understand the professional, financial, and reputational stakes involved because I have lived them and advised others through them.

My background spans legal practice, higher education leadership, and talent acquisition. I have served in senior career services roles within legal education, working closely with law students and alumni on career planning, hiring strategy, professional positioning, and market navigation.

Prior to my work in career strategy, I practiced law in a Biglaw M&A practice. That experience shapes how I approach coaching. I understand the structure of law firm careers, the realities of partnership tracks, the pressures of billable hours, and the reputational concerns that arise when attorneys begin considering alternatives. My clients value that I do not minimize those realities. Instead, I help them evaluate tradeoffs clearly and build practical transition strategies.

I have also served as a Vice President of Talent Acquisition where I led hiring strategy, evaluated senior-level candidates, and worked directly with executives on talent decisions across functions. That experience gives me a clear understanding of how employers outside of law firms assess candidates, what hiring leaders actually value, and how attorneys must position themselves to compete for roles in business, operations, compliance, and leadership.

Over the years, I have advised hundreds of attorneys pursuing law firm roles, clerkships, government positions, in-house opportunities, and nontraditional career paths. My approach is direct, structured, and tailored. I do not offer generic career advice. Each client engagement is shaped by experience level, financial goals, personal priorities, and the current legal and business market. I am based in the Atlanta area and work with attorneys nationwide.
